Dolly Jane

An average happy-go-lucky girl... or is she?

Description:
“It is not its advanced mechanical and cybernetic functions that make the D.O.L.L. model the most advanced android in the galaxy, it is its endless potential for character – sometimes making it more human than humans.”

- Technical Operator 30AZ059

Dolly, a natural airhead, a wide-eyed model-like beauty, and a seemingly a fragile teenager, is quite surprisingly a genius in almost any subject she chooses. When placed in a dangerous situation, she seems to turn into a completely different person, where her “moments of brilliance” makes her seem more then she truly is. She seems to be an innate genius in almost everything, having a tiny tidbit of information in almost anything under the sun. However, her demeanor and airheaded attitude just prevents anyone from taking her seriously.

Concept: Happy-go-Lucky Killer Android
Casting Call: Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana
Crew Position: Infiltrator (How she can sneak in that outfit is a mystery)

Bio:

Anyone would conclude, at first sight, that Dolly Jane is your average teenager, just waiting to join up in an academy. But that is simply not true. Someone gave a great deal of effort to protect Dolly Jane’s true identity, exhibiting (alternately) an immense amount of strength, speed, and durability for a normal human. So understandably, even the government is baffled to what she truly is. It is understandable that they mistook her powers as that of a mutated human’s. And she was thus confined in a “mutant facilitating center” for their mistake. It was, of course, just a fancy name for a prison.

The truth however, is far, far stranger. Dolly is one of the rare androids created by the VOIDCORP Techs who has been granted an almost human-like sentience. She has a built in, marble-sized nanodrones with her, built alongside her during creation –which aid her in almost anything mechanical – including repairing herself when needed. She has memories inside her that almost seem human, which may explain her mysterious past… though she still does not understand her entire story. When activated, she gains unbelieveable combat capability, almost as if she was created for killing, one of the fabled VC Blood Dolls, Assassin androids with no emotions. VoidCorp denies such allegations.

But looking at Dolly—Nah, that’s just impossible. Right? Right?

10 Questions

1. Who is character? What does she look like?
She’s cheerful but vapid, as expected, since she hasn’t spent too much time outside her cell. She’s got a brighter viewpoint than most people in her situation. She’s cute, with strawberry blonde hair, and looks every bit like an average teenager. At least one that is a bombshell (in more ways than one) and an absolute valley girl airhead.

2. What is your best talent? Your Occupation?
She does well with machinery, and electronics. But aside from that, she can seemingly do things (anything) that needs to be done… especially those that normal people can’t and won’t imagine a girl like her can do. (e.g. lifting a boulder… etc)

3. What is your character’s primary goal? Dream? Ambition?
Yesterday, she dreamt of fluffy bunnies! is that what you meant? Teehee!

4. What motivates your character?
Her sole motivation is her need/want to be helpful to people.

5. Any known contacts? Family? Friends? Enemies?
Her roommates are nice… Especially that guard from Gate B. They seem to be really nice with her around. Is that waht you meant? Teehee!

6. What are your favourite and least favorite things?
Favorite: Cute, fluffy objects. Her teddy bear, Mr. Huggs.
Least Favorite Thing: Rude, Nasty People.

7. Who does your character trust most? Hates most? How does she handle her situation with the crew?
None. She’s currently at a Tabula Rasa stage.

8. What is your character’s opinion of the Federation?
Federation? They’re the only one’s Dolly knows, and as such, she foolishly trusts them as a child would. She’s so oblivious to her situation, she doesn’t even know she’s imprisoned, and there’s a world outside the walls. Essentially, she treats her prison as her natural home.

9. What did you do to deserve a life sentence?
None. She was intentionally placed here by her msterious ‘benefactor’ to keep her from being captured by Voidcorp personnel.

10. If you were to choose an actor or a fictitious character to serve as a stand-in for your character, who would he be?
Miley Cyrus, from Hannah Montana, and Mihoshi from Tenchi Muyo.
